This was the third time I saw Craig Schulman as Valjean.  And every time I see him, he gets better and better in his role.  He really sang his part flawlessly.  And now, he has performed the role over 1,500 times to where his acting comes very naturally, as if  Valjean is a part of him.  The highlight of the evening was definitely Christy Baron's Fantine.  I had seen her once before in 1991 but I don't remember her being this strong. Her voice was incredible.  She had a very sweet sounding voice with a terrific pop/theatre style.  You really felt sorry for her character.  I especially liked how she sang "I Dreamed a Dream".  And during "Come to Me", she added some great stylizing to the song.  Ron Bohmer as Enjolras gave an identical performance from the last time I saw him.  Both Craig Rubano and Sarah Uriarte as Marius and Eponine seemed like they were tired that night.  The ensemble sounded terrific again on the big chorus numbers.  And the orchestra was exceptionally strong throughout the entire show.
